Description
Very, very nice vintage standing SINGER round Double Swing Handled Wicker Sewing basket in color of red. Plastic insert states JAPAN and assume that the whole thing was made in JAPAN as the label around the top edge states Made Exclusively for SINGER. Stands 16-1/2″ tall to top of lid, with handles raised it makes it about 22-1/2″ tall. Outside dimensions across is 11″ at the top. Inside basket dimensions are 7″ deep and 9-1/2″ across. Inside has pillow top and fabric in the well and is ma lime gold color. There are two strings on either side that I assume are to help pull the plastic insert out as there are notches in the plastic that fit these, but not sure about this.
It has the double swing handle and a nice fabric pillow top with sturdy hinges and loop front latch. Nice wooden legs that screw in and I will remove for shipping in a smaller box, (so they don’t get us for “dimensional weight”).
